Just to confirm, was this instance deployed via PBX Express or the 3CX Partner portal, or did you perhaps manually create it in Google Cloud and then install 3CX?

As a quick test, could you reboot the VM and then try again? Please provide the new log and email should it fail again.

Note: I'd recommend rebooting during out of office hours to avoid downtime.

Hello,

I think we have used the 3CX Partner Portal when we first deployed 3CX ,but then later i had a problem updating from 15 to 16 with os upgrade and i had to install it manually.
I just rebooted the server, added extra ram and disk, but this failed again.
Here is the log file

Hi!

Your problem is in this line:
Code:
[31m[10:20] Preparation: Found an uncommon source list in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/: google-cloud-ops-agent.list - 0[39m

Seeing that you did it manually, at this point I think probably the best option would be:
  1. Take a backup of your 3CX and download it to your PC
  2. Shutdown the instance in your GCloud account
  3. Deploy a new Google Instance through the customer portal and restore your backup during this process
  4. Once you have verified that everything is OK, you can delete your old instance.

Ok thank you.
Have you stopped hosting 3CX on DigitalOcean cloud droplets?
I cant see it on the dropdown list

We've actually only recently added DigitalOcean to the 3CX self-hosted list of options, however, you will need to switch to our new customer/partner portal to get the new deployment wizard and hence DigitalOcean as an option.

Just click on the "Try new portal" button on the top right corner:
