3CX on AWS in Private Subnet

Is it possible for 3CX hosted in AWS to be in a private subnet? If yes, can anyone point me in the right direction.
The plan is to have an NLB that routes traffic via a transit gateway to the private subnet. I am just not sure if I can get around the FQDN and static IP address

As long as you can forward the required ports to 3CX, it should, in theory, work. The FQDN should come up as the public IP, and you can set the 3CX public IP to be dynamic if required. I cannot, however, guarantee this to work in your scenario as I have not tried it.
I do have 3CX working off a router (second router), behind another router (first router) , double NAT, with the first router forwarding the correct ports to the IP of the second router. The public IP of the first router is seen as the FQDN.
