Hi

I deployed 3CX on DigitalOcean through the 3CX portal, I reserved an IP on DigitalOcean and made it active on the Droplet.
I changed the default route so it's using the reserved IP as it source IP, but the 3CX FQDN is not updating, changed it to dynamic for a while, restarted everything, waited more than 12 hours but nothing seems to work, the FQDN stays on the automatic assigned IP address.
Does anyone have an idea?

Kind regards

Hello VTI-Aalst,

Let me start by saying that I do not know what exactly does go wrong here.
However personally, I would make a backup after major changes (like change of IP), and restore the backup again.
This will re-apply the FQDN / IP on the 3CX License.
You could perhaps also try this option, or already did this?

Hi

Thank you, no didn't try that, is there a way to reset 3CX?
Because when I need to rebuild the Droplet, it will get a new public IP assigned again and need to configure the reserved again and then 3CX will get the new assigned public IP first again, I think.
Because for the Droplet to send all traffic outside from the reserved IP you need to change it's default gateway and you can only do that after the Droplet is created of course.
