3CX on Mac externally

Hi all,

Anybody running external SIP clients on a Mac to 3CX? I have tried X-lite, iPhone and iSoftphone to no avail.

CAn see it registered but no audio

I would suspect that it isn't the fact you are using a SIP client on a Mac, it is a configuration or firewall issue. This might be in the router(s), or the computer. Have you tried running the 3CX phone on a PC (or other device) at the same location? Have you tried using the Mac at a different location?

If your set-up allows, you might try letting the Mac pick up a public IP, bypassing the local router, to see if that works. If it did it would then point to a router, or possible port conflict, on the local network.
