I am puzzled. We are on V16.0.3.1676
and somehow one of the outbound rules is not working.
one of the rules states if there 7 digits prepend 1906 to it (1 and area code) but it doesn't do it. with the result that the call is not going through.
the point is that it is not even routing to the SIP provider. and I can tell because it doesn't prepend the security code to the number for the SIP provider. The OB would have done that.
I am wondering if it has something to do that it is a Fax extension?
my fault - the call log doesn't show the number extended if the call was terminated before it completed. the activity log shows that the rule was applied.
that is a bit confusing in the call log - but there seems to be no technical problem
You can verify that the call is going out by using wireshark to capture a call. If the call is going out then you will see the call leg from the PBX to the provider.
You can also open the Invite message and see if the PBX prepended the correct digits.
