this Bogen PC-TIM device has 6 different paging zones. currently they are hooked to an old toshiba digital system that is using one of the digital extensions to dial into the PC-TIM. then they dial *01 or aother number for each zone.
I have a grandstream HT802 and also a cyberdata v3 paging server. I can't seem to get either one of them to work. I have tried changing the DIP switches on the PC-TIM to work with either the paging server or the grandstream and not getting anywhere.

I did see a post on here stating that on the grandstream HT801 you have to set it to auto answer but I do not see that option on the HT802.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Haven;t worked with that device specifically but for all legacy paging equipment the general process is this:

  • Find out if the device expects FXO or FXS for the PBX connection and get the correct ATA.
  • Register the ATA as a regular extension.
  • Dial that extension and then your paging zone/star codes should just work.

I believe you are referencing the PCM-TIM not PC-TIM. Have you read the manual?
