i forgot the password for the PBX

how do I retrieve it or change it?

Hello @ronenba,

In order to recover your admin credentials, you must enter a wrong password twice, but using the correct admin login username (the default is 'admin').
As soon as you do that, the 'Forgot password' option will appear and when you click it a password recovery email will be send to the administrator email account.

Sorry for posting to this thread, but to create a new one, I need to enter a valid "System" in free form text, and there is no explanation of what this is.

How do I change my password once I've logged into the 3cx phone web client?

For 3CX StartUP the option is not available. Only the administrator can change a users password.
For Hosted or on premise systems the option is under Settings / General of the WebClient.
If its not available then the administrator needs to enable the ability from the management console. It's Settings / Options.
