3CX Phone & IPPhone

Hello ,

I have made an extension ex. 110 that it is provisioned with a snom Ip phone and also an android phone.

Now when a call comes in both phones are ringing and i want to ring the android phone only when im out of the office

You need to check, configure the forwarding rules for the extension for each

Edit the extension, and you will see 'Forwarding Rules' tab,

Hi CSP, When you have one IP Phone and a softphone configured on the same extension you can not set 3CXPhone for Android to ring while the IP Phone does not. You can configure forwarding rules in 3CX Phone System so that incoming calls ring your mobile number when your status is set to away. You can still make outgoing calls using your 3CXPhone for Android configured on your extension even though your status is set to away.

You might consider assigning the Android phone a different extension number and making both you desk extension and the Android extension members of the same ring group. You would have to assign you original extension number to a dummy extension that then routed to the ring group. When a call came in, and the desk phone was set to away, or otherwise not available, the call would still ring the Android phone. If not answered, the call could then be sent to the VM of the desk extension number for later retrieval.

A bit of a work around. There may be something a bit more "elegant", that others come up with.
