I did a new install today and cannot get the phones to provision. The setup is as follows:
1. Windows Server 2016 Hypervisor with the 3CX Debian install running on a hyper-v VM. (I followed the guide found here - https://www.3cx.com/docs/installing-microsoft-hyper-v/ to configure the VM and followed this guide to do the install - 3cx.com/docs/manual/installing-debian-linux-pbx/)
2. Flat network (no VLANs) with the phones on the same LAN as the 3CX install.
3. Linksys router and Netgear GS752TPv2 switch (one cable from router switch to Netgear and all other devices connected to Netgear switch)
- I connected three different Yealink phones (T46S, T42S, T40G)
- All phones show as 'NEW' in the phones tab
- I can ping from the phones to the server without issue
I have followed the standard process of checking the phone and assigning it to an existing extension and the phone simply won't provision.
I also tried to manually add the phones to an extension with the MAC and select local LAN and they will not provision.
I tried to put the provisioning URL (the URL is correct) in the server field on the T46S and that won't work.
I have updated the firmware on the phone to the supported version of 3CX and factory reset several times.
Each time the phones show up as 'NEW' but I cannot get them to provision following any method (https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/yealink-t4-series/).
Any help is greatly appreciated.
