I'm facing a strange situation that partly I already had and that before it has been solved.
Few months ago I got the problem that on one customer's server these two services did not start:
3cx Services not starting after system restart.
This at the time has been solved like mentioned in the post with a time increase of the delayed start of the windows services:
A slow service does not start due to time-out error in Windows
At the time the issue was on system restart. If you were starting manually the services, they did start.
Today my problem is that the same 2 services do not start at all !!
This is the scenario. For any reason I need to move two 3CX of two different customers to two new servers in the cloud.
The servers have been created exactly the same: windows server 2019, 3 Intel Xeon Gold 5218 12 gb ram, 200gb HD.
The only additional software is MS SQL Express.
One fresh backup has been done (on the last backup both are on 18.0 (Build 418) just updated last week !!)
One installation no problem at all. The second has this problem. And there is no way to let them start.
I have tried various time to reinstall, to manually start services etc. but no way.
Looking in the event viewer what you see is only:
Timeout (30000 millisecondi) durante l'attesa della connessione del servizio 3CX PhoneSystem 01 Management Console.
etc...
Then today I have done another trial: I created locally a virtual windows 10 installation and I have restored the same backup with the same latest installer.
No problem !! Everything running ok !!
Has anybody an explanation why this is happening on windows server 2019 just with a specific restore ???
What can be done to understand the reason and solve it ??
