Hi,


I want to ask if i need to open the 5000 5060 if i will just use local calling and im just using a FXO gateway? if yes can i know why?

and if i will be using external what are the exact ports to be open and being port forwarded?

5000 is for MyPhone and web-based management
5060 is for SIP-Traffic

In this case, you don't have to open the VoIP relevant ports on your firewall because you're not dealing with a Voip-Provider.

If you are going to use a VOIP Provider 5060 UDP and TCP as well as 9000-9xxx UDP (Number of calls x 2 -> so 9000-9049 supports 25 calls).
