Hi all !
I've got two problems at the moment:

-If I transfer an incoming line internally, after about half a minute I hear a ring tone that I have to turn off, can I switch off this ring tone?
-If I want to transfer an incoming line to the outside and the person does not pick up their cell phone, the line comes back to me, then the person I tried to transfer the line to can hear what I say to the caller, can this be prevented?

Thanks in advance !

To first gather a bit more information:

If I transfer an incoming line internally, after about half a minute I hear a ring tone that I have to turn off, can I switch off this ring tone?
• Do you mean the user who transferred the call hears a ring tone?
• Does this happen for every transfer?
• Is this a Blind or attended transfer?
• Does this only happen when you transfer an incoming external call to another internal extension?
• What endpoint is the user on(3CX Windows App, 3CX Webclient, IP Phone, etc)?
• What do you mean ringtone? Is the client/IP phone actually ringing and how do you turn it off?
• Is the following option enabled(does it have a defined dial code)? "Settings >> General >> 'Transfer Back on Busy'"

If I want to transfer an incoming line to the outside and the person does not pick up their cell phone, the line comes back to me, then the person I tried to transfer the line to can hear what I say to the caller, can this be prevented?
• How do you transfer the call, is it an attended transfer?
• How does the line come back?
• How does the 3rd party hear the call if he/she does not answer the call in the first place?

Can you please explain step by step and provide an example of what you do to reproduce these issues?

Also please let us know exactly which 3CX version you are running(check under Dashboard >> Information >> License).

Regarding the first issue, are you using a Gigaset phone by any chance?
They tend to to that. 30 seconds after you succesfully transferred a call, they start ringing again. If you answer, there is nobody there.
I was able to fix that in the Extension settings > Options, Troubleshooting. Changing 'support re-invites' and/or 'support replaces header' fixed it for us.
I'm not sure anymore which setting should be on and which should be off, we're not using Gigaset anymore.

The second issue also sounds like you're using a Gigaset.
They automatically answer the line when it comes back to you, causing what you described.

We've changed to Yealink and/or Snom officially supported phone. They don't have any of these issues. It's really best to go with supported phones that can be provisioned with a URL. Manually entering details in an unsupported phone does work many times, but also causes all kinds of strange issues, like the ones you described.
