I made a backup of 3CX without FQDN and license, uninstalled and reinstalled 3CX, and restored from backup.
During install, it prompted me to choose either my internal IP or FQDN. I chose FQDN and entered the same FQDN as my external one, matching the zone entry on my internal Windows DNS server, which points to the internal IP of my 3CX server.
I did all this to avoid the Welcome Email sending users to two different FQDNs when using 3CX internally and externally.
However, when I sent myself a Welcome Email after reinstall, it still shows the old internal FQDN instead of the new one I selected during 3CX reinstall.
I have no idea why. Any suggestions?
