Hello,
I was looking for a little clarification on 3CX reports and time zones. I was reading information on the forums but I'm not sure if that info is still valid as it was years old.
Let's say I have the scenario below.
System time zone: PST
User A (browser time zone): EST
User B (browser time zone): CST
User C (browser time zone): PST
Thanks,
Justin
I was looking for a little clarification on 3CX reports and time zones. I was reading information on the forums but I'm not sure if that info is still valid as it was years old.
Let's say I have the scenario below.
System time zone: PST
User A (browser time zone): EST
User B (browser time zone): CST
User C (browser time zone): PST
- User A creates a daily extension statistics report scheduled for 08:00
- As I understand the scheduled time for the report to run is in the user that created the reports' browser context. AKA the report will run at 08:00 EST. Is this correct?
- If User C logs into the Management console and checks the reports.
- Will user C see the scheduled time as 08:00 as well or do they see the scheduled time as 05:00 since that is their browser time zone?
- If user C sees the scheduled time as 08:00, does this mean 08:00 PST or 08:00 EST?
- Will user C see the scheduled time as 08:00 as well or do they see the scheduled time as 05:00 since that is their browser time zone?
- For the users that receive the report via email, what time zone are the values in the report in? The values are in the system time zone, PST in this case correct?
- If User C edits the report that user A created and saves it. What time zone is the report now scheduled for?
Thanks,
Justin
