Exactly this: We have way more users in AAD than actual extensions so it would be really useful to have the ability on not only the sync, but also SSO to have a choice of "users in Group X" or "Users with attribute y" are enabled automatically. Honestly I'd prefer groups, but it may depend on possibilities that are more easily achievable.

Currently for those with a personal number in 3CX we have to manually add them from the list, while this works for us for the moment it involves to many manual steps in my opinion.

Can we see an updated roadmap? It has been a while since you communicated your "intention" and I am always exited to know what great new features we can look forward to in 3cx. thank you

Along with the option to only sync photos for matching users. (No extension created if there is no match.)

Is there a roadmap for group based syncing from Office365/AzureAD?
Also, a checkbox to allow auto-deletion/cleanup of extensions that are no longer in the synced group,
This would save so much admin time jumping between Office 365 and 3CX, especially if the client has a higher turnover rate.
