So on the latest ISO version, there seems to be a bug in the menu system involved, when you pick the 3CX SBC Stable, it instead install the latest 3CX Phone System, it even says so on the progress screens that follow, showing 3cxpbx instead of 3cxsbc.

We have used previous versions of the ISO, we know how it is supposed to work, It also never launches the prompt for the SBC settings, or a 3CX PBX Setup wizard, however when i browse /usr/sbin, i can see all the 3CX services sitting in there installed and ready, and if i run the 3CXWizard command, it goes in and begins the setup of a brand new PBX....

I havent tried the beta option yet, but this is a problem, as we need to build some SBCs, and were hoping to use the latest ISO for this....

i just ran this command
apt-get install 3cxsbc

It uninstalled all the 3cxpbx packages, and installed the SBC, but still didnt launch the SBC settings menu, or provide any guidance therein. This should get fixed sometime soon hopefully.

Just tried the SBC Beta option, and it also, installs the PBX, i did notice right after picking the SBC Beta option, at the bottom of the screen it references not found for a certain file, but its gone in a fraction of a second.

Hi Brentt,
wednesday, i've got a problem using same iso but my problem was on French Azerty keyboard not set and @StefanW said it was a bug forcing Qwerty, they change this and in the afternoon i tried a new SBC install and AZERTY keyboard was OK and have got the 3 choices for installation.
So may be they have done a new update has broken something else ?

not sure but i just re-downloaded the iso and same thing.... We are using standard US keyboards, the one in particular was a Logitech K200, which is just a basic keyboard, no fancyness to speak of, and usb.

I got an SBC up and running by manually installing using apt-get install 3cxsbc, and then pulled the config file from a working sbc, changed the appropriate details, reuploaded, and rebooted, but this should not be needed to get a working sbc.

My iso version i downloaded wednesday is :
Debian GNU/Linux 9.9.0 "Stretch" - Official amd64 NETINST
20190427-10:30

is it the same for yours?

Hi everyone, we just now made a fix so that the correct version is installed.

There is no need to re-download the ISO, it should work with the existing one you already have if you have downloaded it within the past month.

If there are any problems let me know.

I dont wish to, i just was forced to, as i "had" to have a working SBC, and i figured out how to make it work either way. I dont hope to have to manually build config files each time due to an installer bug. ;)

i had to have it shipped by end of business yesterday to arrive on-time for a deployment.
