I got a problem that can’t figure out. The issue is that we have is that IOS client does not ring due to the push not working. Now the sales team wants Microsoft Team instead since that client is working in iPhones. They are using that client to call internally.
The 3CX client is installed, but since you dont know when you get call its useless.

So, I need to figure out a way for integrating the 3CX solution to work with Microsoft Teams. I have been trying Skype Business as a workaround, but… I can’t a find a Session Border Controller for Asterisk / 3CX. Is it just me working on this? Suggestions / Ideas?

For the people that the ios client is not working, use the Ring my mobile simultaneously option for that extension.

moving the goalposts will just end up going down the rabbit hole, and I think that is what setting up 3cx as a sip client on teams would be, plus you do not need a sbc to do this.

The only known integration from the 3CX side is for the clients only: https://www.3cx.com/blog/releases/skype-for-business/

I would doubt this is up to date however.

I know of integrations that have taken place between SfB on-premise and Avaya systems (not online SfB) normally via a SIP trunk, I would doubt you are installing the on-premise however as it is a heavyweight solution.

Audiocodes SBC's are the most well known SBC brand for Skype for business but Sonus/Ribbon still provide SfB SBC's as well: https://www.audiocodes.com/solutions-products/solutions/skype-for-business-microsoft-teams

Thanks guys
The ring my mobile simultaneously option, seems like a poor band aid. My clients compare everything with M$ these days. In this case it’s the MS Teams clients that they use for internal voice calls.

but have you tried seeing why you dont get push messages on your iOS devices?

Hopefully then they also are comparing the cost of Microsoft O365/Skype/Teams against 3CX as well then.

If I recall I had some SfB licences for some Yealinks previously and it came out considerably more costly per unit on a monthly basis.

Yeah and its strange. The iPhones do not react when the actual call is in progress. BUT after the line goes down the phone do one ring!?
