3CX Skype Gateway Setup

Hi,

I have tried setting up the Skype gateway but when ever I try to create a skype port or do anything with the software, it gives me a message saying I don't have rights to manage 3CX gateway for skype. Any body have an idea to why it tells me that or a way to fix it.

Hi, on what operating system did you install skype gateway.
Also are you Administrator or have administrative rights.
Without rights 3cx gateway for skype will not work.

Thank you for your reply.
I'm running on Windows 7 64Bit and i'm the administrator and there is only one windows account.

Hi Omar, I tried to replicate your issue, Windows 7 - 64 Bit ,
Latest Skype and latest Gateway for Skype.
This works 100%.

Can you do the following, Go to My Computer, Right Click and Select Manage.
Go to Local Users and Groups > Users > Administrator (right Click > Properties ) UN check Account is disabled.

And Log in as Administrator and open Gateway for Skype and check again.

Had the same problem with 64 bit Win7. Right click on the start menu link and select run as administrator.
