3CX SMTP Server down?

This issue is not resolved for me. Still getting the "MailKit.Net.Smtp.SmtpCommandException: Unauthenticated senders not allowed" error when testing the 3cx smtp server.

I'm trying to provision softphones, this is impossible without the welcome email. So I am stuck, please sort this rubbish out.

It's not impossible without the welcome email. You can login to the web client and scan the QR code.

That is an option if using a mobile device but not if you are installing on a Laptop or PC.

Please note that users currently using the 3CX SMTP may face some difficulties sending emails. We are currently working on restoring full service as soon as possible.

Is a RFO going to be issued for this outage?

The issue was caused due to an unexpected disruption of communication between the activation server and the server that dispatches the emails.
Full functionality was restored the same day November 9 at approximately 5:00 p.m. UTC
