3cx softphone client and terminal server?

has anyone ever tried to user the softphone inside a terminalsession (ms)?

no but ms strongly advises against the use of audio / video in terminal sessions, since the server's capacity has to be enough.

Would be a nice test to try and see if M$ is wrong bout that?

I have attempted to use X-Lite in a TS session.

The main problem is that TS doesn't map microphones. :roll: After registering, the softphone tells you "No Audio Devices Available". I have also tried this using a USB headset on the off chance it might map. I got the same results :cry:

If you find a way to make this work, let me know. :?

Try mapping the usb device to an IP address (there is some thirdpary software for that) by doing that the terminal server should just see it as an IP device and it should work.

Have not tried it but just an idea.
