3CX Softphone keeps on getting blacklisted

Greetings, I hope everyone is safe and healthy.


I am administering 3CX for a month now and our setup is webclient. How can we prevent our softphones from getting blacklisted? The user is already logged in.

This IP Address x.x.x.x has made numerous attempts to authenticate with 3CX using invalid credentials. In response, 3CX has blacklisted this IP and denied any further requests.

So did that user enter the wrong password many times? Did they inform you what happened? Were they perhaps trying to log in to the management console URL instead of the Webclient URL?

If they have a static IP you can whitelist them, if not then it cannot be prevented entirely.
