hello,
i have avaya ipoffice 500 and i want to migrate to 3cx ... first i want to use the 3cx for external users.
so i install 3cx and put on same subnet of avaya i created a sip trunk and everything was working fine if the call come from internal 3cx to internal avaya 3cx
but when i tried to call from avaya to internal 3cx its not working at all. any suggest ?

i tired to user 3cx bridge ... the call come as a missed call only.
thanks.

3CX was not designed to be used in conjunction with another PBX. We can help you migrate your whole system to 3CX.
There is no point in having 3CX for the sole purpose of passing calls through - issues will arise for sure with this setup.
Why don't you configure some extensions on the 3CX side, set up a test sip trunk for now, and start making some calls from
the 3CX mobile clients or web clients?
You will see that there is no easier and nor a smoother process.

hello,
let say the we have two branches one have avaya and other one have 3cx what we will do in this case ?

Then in both cases, you must use 3CX :)
Bridging them or setting up the 2 systems to communicate via trunks, as you have already seen will not work.
So in order to avoid the hassle, set up a central 3CX with remote extensions. Or you also have the option to set up 2x 3CX systems, and bridge them.
Eitherway users will be able to communicate between them, calls will pass through and
you will have no issues.

i can't do that because we have three branches.... main office, two branches and 5 partners !!!! all are working with current EOL Avaya ip office 500 V2 ! so i can't change request to change pbx for all branches and all partners.

As we discussed on the PM,
t what is the purpose you use 3cx for then? We are trying to understand the setup you want to have.
Of course, you may have the agents use 3cx clients which are for free and there is no need to use deskphones.

So...the call is getting through? If so, then that's the biggest hurdle. That being the case you may want to examine the Invite using the Activity Log (Verbose), or make use of Wireshark to find out exactly what is happening. You might also try changing the destination of the calls (for testing) as it may have something to do with how you have the calls currently routed.
