3CX Trunk with SIP-NNI Protocol

Hello 3CX team,

Does 3CX support SIP trunks with SIP NNI?

In this case, would I simply leave the authentication tab empty?

I inquired with a local SIP provider for their trunk and they replied: "Please be informed that from our core network is supported technically only SIP Trunk over the Internet with SIP-NNI protocol (Network to Network). The functionality enables only traffic routing, it can’t do authentication (so without username and password). Communication is with IP. Please your confirmation that your device supports the SIP-NNI protocol."

So we basically talking about IP based trunks here. So yes 3CX does support IP based trunks. You can find many supported IP based providers here: https://www.3cx.com/partners/sip-trunks/
