Hi all,

I'm experiencing "3CX Trusted Secure file invalid" and the PBX is showing as Unlicensed.

Environment:

  • 3CX PRO 4 SC
  • Linux installation on AWS Lightsail
  • Version updated from 20.0.6.724 to 20.0.7.1080
  • License renewed recently
  • License page shows:
    • Product: 3CX PRO 4 SC
    • Expiry: Sep 3, 2027
Troubleshooting already performed:

  • Rebooted server
  • System time/NTP verified and synchronized
  • DNS resolution working
  • activate.3cx.com resolves correctly over IPv4 and IPv6
  • HTTPS connectivity to activate.3cx.com successful
  • TLS certificate validation successful (SSL certificate verify ok)
  • No restore or migration was performed. This PBX has been running on the same instance.
  • Local firewall does not appear to be blocking outbound traffic
Additional observations:

  • Activity Log does not show any license activation errors.
  • License information is visible and shows the correct renewed expiry date.
  • Activity Log repeatedly reports:
The 'BLF' feature is disabled in currently activated license

Has anyone encountered a situation where the license details are visible and current, but 3CX still reports "Trusted Secure file invalid" and treats the PBX as unlicensed?

Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks.

Ensure that the PBX is under the latest version v20.0 Update 9 (Build 995) and then check again please.

Thank you for the speedy reply.

The issue was that the pbx was in v20 u7.
Updated to u9 and resolved the issue
