Hi there,

This is probably a very stupid question.

We are assisting a client with configuring mobile extension on Android devices. When doing research we noticed that when the config is done properly you can used a QR code for configuration which is located within the Web Client, settings area.

Can someone please advise where we would get the URL for login into the Web Client do complete the configuration. We have re-generated the Welcome mail with the hope that this would contain the URL but it doesn't.

We also updated the 3cx hosted DYNDNS name by changing the public ip field located under that 3cx management console. Can someone please advise how long this takes to update.

Thanks.

You have to enable the webclient - Settings -> PBX Settings - Enable WebRTC softphone in Web Client (Beta)

Resending the welcome email should have all the details.

On the update of 3cx dns, standard and pro licenses can take 6 hrs, enterprise 6 mins.

Hi there,

There is no such option under PABX Settings.

You are not running the latest version - you should be on 15.5.15502.6

Are you running Windows or Debian version ?

Also are you running a free edition or paid version.

Windows versions that is currently on version 15.0.56772.0

So I think @Saqqara is slightly off here. The OP doesn't need the webclient softphone. The OP simply wants the QR code in the webclient to scan.

The webclient is always available at https://3CXFQDN/webclient or https://3CXFQDN:5001/webclient . This is assuming you are on v15.5 Update 2 or higher for the QR code. You will have to enable the extension to login to the webclient.

Problem is here:
