3CX V18 Final update 4,18.0.4.965

Hi ,
I have configured self managed 3cx Linux based instance and it's hosted in AWS .
Currently My instance running on 18.0.3.461 version so what my query is i need to update version from 3cx Management Console or From Server also update the version?
Before going to update the version to 18.0.4.965 need to take backup from 3cx console and server side?
Kindly guide me..

To update, click update withing the 3cx management console

To update 3cx and debian, auto updates should be configured.

You should be do a backup from within the 3cx management console.

Simply run the update from the mgmt console.

Updates should always be done from mgmt console unless explicity told otherwise by 3CX.
