I clicked on the upgrade to v20 in the management console. Now I get a "Server Error" everytime I try to login. I went in to my systems, and it shows the server is running, so I tried to reboot the sytem from there, this did not work, so I then stopped the service and started the service again. It said it would restore my latest backup but It has been about an hour now and I still cannot get in to the system. How can I access my 3cx Hosted account? I cannot SSH in to it.

So, to clarify, you initiated the upgrade. How long afterward did you reboot the system?

A system updated from version 18 to 20 must undergo 2 OS updates, Debian 11 and then Debian 12. This process may take quite some time, depending on the size of the system. If you interrupt this process with a reboot, the system will be corrupted and unrecoverable.

I believe this was reported to our CSR team, who advised that you open a support ticket with us at 3cx technical support to see if we can restore the backup we have on our side; we have been waiting for you to do this.

Can you please open a support ticket so that we may check?

Thanks for youyr response. Yes, I already paid for the support ticket. I tried doing all of the above I mentioned after about 25 or so minutes. I have been trying to call your phone number listed on my paid invoice but just keep getting the busy signal. Why did the system when I logged in tell me to update? Your customer service rep said this was a beta. I never would have done this had I saw it was a beta.

I went back in and I saw there was a button "Create ticket" button. I did not realize this was how to create a ticket. Sorry about that. The ticket has been created.

We have seen the ticket and answered it, so we can continue there.

Thanks
