We have 3CX v18 installed multiple locations. but now cannot deploy anymore instances, wanted to have a fallback to do fresh install if anything went wrong during upgrade, so with a backup I could do fresh install and restore from 3cx backup, but when on portal page. Gives no option! We do not have free subscriptions all ours are paid with Pro Licence.
You exceeded the maximum number of free subscriptions for this installation type.
So initially we would have a free version download then apply the licence from the backup restore, or apply the licence manually
So how can I do this. At present waiting for Update 1 or 2 depending on when reporting becomes available. But creating the upgrade plan and have fallback plan, on how to deploy. Obviously have daily full backups of VM and will have Snapshot, so that if all else fails can get back to V18, but when we want to move to v20 it would be good to be able to deploy fresh version if the upgrade fails.
How do you get this block removed? Or do you just re-register with new email? seems counter-productive.

Obviously I can go to downloads, but it does not say what version on the downloads page just debian-amd64-netinst-3cx.iso and still shows windows versions which must be v18 as Windows v20 not released. or is it you have to do fresh v18 install restore backup, then upgrade to v20

On your account must be another free licence. But you could ask your partner for a test licence.

Our current partner only does renewals now,, and suggested another company who might be willing to help. So will be looking to ally ourselves with another UK reseller at some point in the near future. Before next renewal date.

Your reseller doesn't have to be in the UK FYI. You can use partners anywhere.

You are right for our UK instance, I was thinking too parochially. But Time differences also have a narrowing of time and availability, both ends. I will think on it.

I have installed the 3cx Debian iso free on premises with no issues apart from a few questions.
I made a full back up zip on the windows version and moved it to Debian as instructed on the install GUI.
But when I go into the new GUI and click admin their are a lot of icons missing like back up restore.

Also I had a Yealink Dect Phone in the FXS/DECT on windows version but not showing in Debian but only list of users.
When I add the mac address of the DECT as a new phone its says already in use.
Any Ideas.

Thanks.

I'd post your own thread for your issue for better assistance.
