I have a customer who uses Orbit to put a call on hold so they can ask a user to pick it up. When the timer runs out and the call is to be transferred back to the user who originally parked he call, instead it goes to the ring group and rings all phones as if it were a new call. The original parker is part of that ring group and the call originally came into the ring group. Is there a way to just make this go to the original phone that parked the call?

Are you blind transfer to the Parking Orbit?

Hi Gary,

Also make sure to check your unpark settings (applies to Shared Parking only like SP0, SP1 etc)

In this example here im unparking calls to RG1 which is a ring group containing the person who parked it.

Hi, I have the users phone setup for attended transfer, but they use the button Shared Parking and the transfer is blind transfer.

Hi Gary,

That's correct. You cannot perform attended transfers to the shared parking slots.

If there's someone in there you can only pick them up.

If they are empty, you can only blind transfer a caller to them.

Not sure why you wanted to perform attended in shared parking, it wouldn't make sense.

Attended should work fine for normal BLFs - not for shared parking.

Shared Parking is not the same as Parking Orbit.

Parking Orbit does not have a BLF type.

Hope this clarifies things a little.
