3CX V20 Split DNS and Linux

Hello,

Has anyone been able to get 3CX v20 hosted Onpremise, to get this to work with a Linux DNS server?
(a lot of people don't have a windows DNS server in their network, nor the possibility to do NAT on firewall side (which even fails with some firewalls if your public ip is not directly on your wan interface)

So the idea would be to do for example a minimal setup of ubuntu/debian/.... running an internal dns server, on for example a raspberry pi, to keep costs down.
Anyone have set this up, and working?

Prepared on locations where V18 PBX Windows are always running, and split dns is actually working fine with PIhole on raspberry as DNS Resolver on LAN .

Thank you for the answer, but you are talking about V18, and i am looking for V20 solution, since there is a big difference there.

No @aws2p mean for V20, actually. Something else very simple for local DNS can be Dnsmasq.
If you wish more advance, you can go with Pi-hole. There are plenty of documentation online you can find on this matter.

Split DNS is what 3CX ask us to do as prerequisite for V20 migration so for now near all my Debian V18 PBXs are migrated to V20 only stay windows ones on premise waiting for V20 release to be done
