Solved 3CX v20 there is no ip based trunk

Hi,

We performed the upgrade(Version 20.0 Update 2 (Build 715 Release)) to our on premise instance with Pro license and we are noticing that there is not generic profile under the sip trunks, is there any config required to add it?

Are you logged in as System Owner? You can choose a different country. Version is u3 should be the same in u2.

Take Generic Sip Trunk, this should be fine.

Sure, you need to authenticate in any way to your provider. If it is ip based, just fill in some stuff, it doesnt matter.

Also @NicholasP_3CX is it possible that some instances have a different list of trunks then the others?

Only if Multicompany mode is active on a PBX will there be no option for selecting the authentication method.

Have you by any chance enabled this? If yes, disable it.

And that was the issue, we forgot to turn it off after checking it.

For my curiosity why that option is not available in multicompany mode?

Because then the IP based provider would be in use by all the tenants.
