3CX v20 Update 3 - License Error

Hello,

I have a question regarding license activation for 3CX v20 Update 3. As stated we have most of our customers on 3CX v20 Update 3 and get the following error in the License field:

_i18n.LicenseHttpsErr_InvalidTrustedStorage

The licenses are all active and in the Dashboard it correctly states (for example)

Type Professional Annual 4 Simultaneous Calls (Expires on 3 Dec 2025)
or
Type Professional Annual 16 Simultaneous Calls (Expires 26 Nov 2025)

Is this a known issue?
The only way I could fix it was to upgrade our test system from Update 3 to Update 6.
Was this announced anywhere that the license activation for Update 3 will stop to work?

Your pbx is one year behind, the certificates of the activation server changed. This could be your problem.

See the "3CX | IMPORTANT: Update your 3CX PBX by 3rd October, 2025" that 3CX sent July 2.

Edit: about once a year there is a required update.

thanks a lot for the replies ! I updated all my phone systems to update 6 (for now, because of the external storage) and all works fine now.

I honestly read that the update mail from 2.7. mentioned that you are safe if you upgrade to v20 Update 3.

I'm pretty sure there was a blog post at some point mentioning it but I couldn't find that yesterday.

It's fortunate you were still able to update, vs backup+reinstall+restore.
