Hi Andrew Aguilar,

Have you got a stable direct Internet connection ? If so and you can confirm you might want to re-start your services and try again.

Is this system running on Windows or Linux ?

You skipped a very important thing mentioned by @eddv123 : "If so and you can confirm you might want to re-start your services and try again."

So in the Management Console --> Dashboard --> Updates, even though you are downloading the 3CX Windows Client update and the Service Pack update, when you go back to the Updates they re still there, right?

Are you running and A/V software on the Windows machine? This is the #1 reason why updates fail usually. Uninstall it (not disable - sometimes not enough), reboot Widows and try again. If this solves then you should talk to the A/v software vendor to put exceptions in place.

When you install the service pack:
- Does it though you out of the Management Console?
- If yes, check the Windows Services, do the 3CX services restart at some point?

Hi Guys,

Sorry for very late reply with this post,
we do all the things to update 3cx version, but we didn't success,
we already restart the services from the 3cx console and try to update - FAILED
We tried to restart the services of the machine - FAILED
check the internet connection -GOOD
We also restart the machine and try again to update - FAILED

Any suggestion from you guys??? :( :(

looking for positive response

If you have good backup, I would uninstall 3CX and then reboot and install a fresh copy and when installing use your backup when it asks for it. Should go smoothly and you'll have a new version.

Ops... But this is new installed, last January 3. 2018.

What do you think is the issue?

I would think you got a corruption in Windows. Maybe it was anti-virus or something else. If you have a backup it should take you less than an hour to install fresh and restore.

Want a secret? Load an old desktop with the ISO for Debian and your problems will go away. Use an SSD and it will be screaming fast with just 2 to 4 GB of ram.

I'm an old Windows MCSE and worked on windows since version 1, and I hate it now. Debian and Ubuntu are just so polished. No registry and no hassle.

Although what @jimbo59 is saying could be the case, you can check one more thing that could enlighten us where the issue is happening.
Attempt again to install the service pack, and once it fails and you receive the email that it dd so, go on the server and retrieve the following 2 files and post them here:
C:\Program Files\3CX Phone System\Bin\Updater1.log
C:\Program Files\3CX Phone System\Bin\Updater2.log

Those might give us an idea what went wrong.
