I have been attempting to use the new 3CX VoIP client in a terminal server environment. So far I have been unable to have multiple users use the software on the terminal server. The software will only allow one user at a time to use it on the terminl server. The older client (3CX Call Assistant) worked fine on terminal servers with multiple clients logged in.

I have attempted mutiple installs using Add/remove programs etc.
Is there an extra step needed to use this software on a terminal server?
Is there a patch planned or in existence now that will help??
Anyone know of a fix or work around for this?

I love the features of the new client. We just need to have it work in a terminal server environment like the old one did.

Thanks again,
Ralph

Hi Ralph,

Thanks for your feedback. We will test this. Do you use it in deskphone mode or in soft phone mode?

Both doesn't work. The second 3CX Voip client doesn't start.

I personally would like to use it in desk phone mode.

Good morning,

The client's users would use it in Desktop mode.
The users have a Polycom Soundpoint IP 330 at their desk that logs into the 3CX V5.1 server.
The users have their desktop on a Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition Terminal Server.
They are all remote and use hardware VPN for their connection to the 3CX V5.1 server.

Let me know what you find. Needless to say the client needs this yesterday

Thanks again
