3CX Wallboard - VOIP Tools via hosted 3CX

Hi,

We are looking to enhance our 3CX reporting over and above the inbuilt Wall Board. From reading other posts, VOIP Tools and the Competitive Wallboard seems what we are after. However, our 3CX system is hosted by a third party reseller, not on premise with ourselves.

Is there a way we can still interface between the offsite hosted 3CX system and a local instance of VOIP Tools, or would our reseller need to host it alongside 3CX ?

Yes you can as long as you have SSH access to the server it is hosted on.

Yes, you can have 3CX hosted in the cloud and our tools on-prem, or in the cloud. We communicate with 3CX over HTTPS so it does not matter where 3CX or VoIPTools are installed.

However, if 3CX is hosted by a 3rd party, we must have the ability to install our Relay directly on the 3CX server. We can work with your provider to perform the installation of the Relay. We have only found a couple of providers who do not support 3rd party tools. The 3CX hosting service, for example, does not permit any 3rd party tools including the 3CX Call Flow Designer.
