Solved 3CX Webmeeting Recording - How to Keep Past 7 Days?

Is there a way to keep a webmeeting recording past the 7 days. Is it possible to save the mp4 file permanently from the server or is there any other way to keep for as long as you desire? I created a video demo for users and would love to be able to store that for training usage in perpetuity. Thanks.

Hello,

After the meeting is over you will receive a link to download your recording of the session.

Start a webmeeting, click record, when the meeting is over, click the button to end it.

You will receive an email report with the link to download it.

We cannot keep them longer however, they must be removed after the 7 day period.

I understood the process but was trying to find a way to keep for longer than 7 days. Where is the video file stored on the server? Is there not a way to copy the file and save elsewhere?

No, you can only access it from the link in the report. We only store it temporarily with the intent to give you a chance to download it before it gets deleted automatically

I figured out that if you right click the video and select Save Video As.. the video can be downloaded. This was what I was looking for.
