When 3 participants join from Windows 3CX client and use 3CX server as MCU (Not Web RTC)

we could not escalate this audio conference to 3 party video conference
I believe 3CX MCU does not have support ?

Which can be easily achieved via Microsoft Lync Environment

Any ideas or suggestions ?

Will PABX next will include this function ?

Webmeeting (WebRTC) is 3CX's answer to this problem.

The Softphone Client is using SIP Video which is widely unsupported, so using Webmeeting via Chrome is the more universal solution.

This is for Ad-Hoc conferencing . Not Using Web RTC,

Hello @mobilowa

Please note that it is not possible to escalate an audio conference to video at the moment. You will need to use the webmeeting functionality to be able to hold video conferences.

Similar platforms including Mitel, Lync offers this function,
3CX has any plans to include this in future ?

Yes, 3CX have offered it via the WebRTC WebMeeting platform. This is exactly what WebMeeting is designed for.

I understand it is one more step if you are on a telephone call, but the AdHoc WebMeeting is designed for quick pop up video conferencing.
