Hello Guys,

I have my 3CX integrated with Cisco CUBE via SIP Trunk,
Everything is working fine, however, I have a caller id issue:

Call from Cisco --> 3CX (Caller ID is showing the name and correct number of the user)

Call from 3CX --> Cisco (Caller ID is showing only the name with no number),

I tried to manipulate the outgoing parameters in the SIP settings in 3CX, but with no luck to make caller id show in Cisco,

I appreciate your support to help me fix this,

Thanks,

Hi @LaithCpE

You will need to figure out from what SIP header the Cisco Cube is reading these information from and adjust the outbound parameters of 3CX accordingly.
It will also depend on what you are trying to send as the caller ID. If you are trying to send the 3CX extension number for example that will not work as 3CX does not send extension number via SIP Trunks for security reasons. You could add the extension number however as the caller ID of each extension and send it that way.

Hello,

I tried using the DID number, and also I tried to set the outbound caller id manually in the sip trunk or the outbound rules,

All of them didn't work,

Also I tried all the parameters in the SIP header, didn't work for me at all,

Thanks,

Check the 3CX activity log for the outbound Invite. If the 3CX PBX is sending the correct information then you will need to configure the Cisco side to read the information correctly.

Hello,

Please check the invite request below, the caller id is not being sent:

What could be the issue here?

What happens if you put a caller ID in the outbound rule settings, is that sent?

Can you send us a screenshot of the outbound parameters of your trunks on the 3CX side to see the config you currently have?

Hello,

Thank you for your help,
After making these changes, I checked the logs, and the 3CX is sending the caller id right,

After that I was seeing the caller id wrong on Cisco phone part, it turns out that the SNR feature on Cisco will change the caller id if the remote destination was called,

Thanks, everyone for the support, you are great :)

Glad to see you were able to sort out the 3CX part of the equation. Please let us know if you run into anymore issues.
