I have this issue

Incoming call from other VideoPhone example GXV3175 V2 where priority codec is H264 , second H263 video not work

I know that 3cxPhonefor Windows 12.5 not use h264 , but if not use this codec it must send in sdp only h263
Anyone had same issue?

More information is needed as to the situation.

I assume the phones are within the same LAN? Both phones are 3175s? You mention the 12.5 Phones for Windows, but not where it fits into your scenario. You also did not indicate if when "video work" if that means that video was observable on both ends, or if on one end...which.


As far as I know, the 3CXPhoneforWindows, does not support video itself, but it can be used to support WEBRTC conferencing whose video is separate. The earlier 3CX Phone softphone V6 does support video at a h263 level. This is a generic softphone.

Perhaps providing more detail will help.

Ext 2438 is 3cx client phone for windows latest version
Ext 2000 is gxv3175v2
Ext 2001 is yealink vp530
Ext 2002 is 3cx client phone for windows latest version
All device on same network
Any video call 2438 to 2002 , or 2438 on webrtc with another devixe work fine
Any video 2000 to 2001 work fine
Video call 2438 from or to 2001 or 2000 work fine only if hardphone is setting with first codec h263 and work fine
If hardphone 2001 or 2000 is setting with codec h264 and second code with h263 , video call not start only audio
