Hi,
We have our own CRM and what we're trying to do is hook into the incoming call in 3cx. So when an outside calls, the incoming call should be sent to our web crm on a separate cloud server via our api endpoint instead of the 3cx webclient. I hope this make sense.

Are there any tutorials to do this? Our own API server is running Ubuntu and quite flexible, which means I can install any needed software and open required ports.

Thanks

There's no way in 3CX to send the call elsewhere via APIs. You'd need to use a SIP library to register on the PBX as a regular extension and use that instead.

Thanks for the quick response. Could you point me on how to go about this route?

Not really. It's not something we would do nor recommend.

Why do you need the call to go to the CRM? Can't it just open the contact page like the integration can already do?

We just want a full seamless integration. Actually our CRM receives an emergency alert for a given event and to pick up the call from another web app is not a valid solution, just too much to handle.
So basically what I'm looking for I guess is call forwarding from 3cx to our server so that the alert raised is an actual call and not just an alert.
Thanks.

First of, if you were using the DesktopApp, you wouldn't have to "answer from another web app". It would be a desktop dialer.

If you really need that kind of forwarding, just drop 3CX and connect your system directly to your provider.

Right. Thanks for the advice.
By the way, is 3cx can be setup like the 911, I absolutely have no idea here.
