Hello,

Today we are unable to make any outbound calls and are receiving the error Call failed not Found on the client.

Below is a section of the event log for an attempt.

SIP Server/Call Manager ID: 122xx
Call or Registration to 098415xxxx@(Ln.10001@2APlus Company) has failed. 49.231.66.xxx replied: 404 Not Found; from IP:49.231.66.xxx:5060

I have blanked out some of the information and have also logged a support request with our voip provider.

Nothing has been changed in the PBX

The provider or device at 49.231.66.XXX, attempted to complete the call, but the number used (0908415XXXX) was not able to be found. This is usually an indication that the number is invalid. I should mention that if this is occurring on all calls, then you should contact the provider or check whatever is at the reporting IP.

We have tried a number of different phone numbers and this is the same error, this was just an example of one such incident.

The number is a valid number and the outbound rules are correct and have not been changed.

Seems to be a provider issue. They are sending the 404, so they should be able to tell you what went wrong.

Have logged a support ticket with the providers but it is happening with both providers so would be a huge coincidence if both providers had issues on the same day.

We have a trunk with 2a for TH and Faktortel for AU.

Have restarted all the services and also re-registered the sip trunks.

Have captured the logs and generated support files.

Hmm. Are you sure that nothing changed on the PBX? Are you sending the caller/calling ID in the correct format?

Yes, those values haven't changed for the sip trunk, also notified when a sip trunk is amended.

Would you suggest a restore at this point as calls were working fine yesterday?

You can try if you don't hear anything from both providers.

Are the trunks registered? Are inbound calls working?

Inbound calls appear fine.
The trunks are registered and I also re-registered them manually to check.
