4SC Free Changed Early

A few clients of mine are running 4SC Free v18.

I went to see about upgrading to V20 today to keep them going until the end of the year, and it is still July 30th (so two days away from August 1st).

But their licenses are showing an expiration of December 30th, 2024, and they're only 2 call versions now.

One I went ahead and upgraded to V20 (backup, uninstall, import) but it also shows as 12/30/24 expiration and only a 2 call version.

What gives?

I saw the same thing. I upgraded to v20 tonight and it still shows 2 SC. I hope they can fix this since the license changed prior to August 1.

About half of my 4sc free licenses went to 2sc days prior to the 1st. 3CX needs to revert all 2sc back to 4sc.

We still have a 4SC Free license working. The dashboard shows it is valid until December 31, 2025. What is going to happen after this date?

Per other posts as long as you follow directions such as keeping current they will extend the licenses in late December.

I thought I saw somewhere that the next year’s extension is only at 2sc for legacy free edition.

Yes it will become a 2SC end of year. If you need more you have to buy a dedicated edition or else use the SMB edition.

No you cannot. You need to upgrade the current license to get more features/SC.

EDIT: I was mistaken. You can but only for free licenses.

Are you 100% sure? I thought that free licenses could be replaced.
