A Brand New Forum for Select Partners & Customers

Thank You for this Forum option! This will make difference in communicating our Customer Needs! We have list of things that could improve 3CX. We just recently forwarded this list to Vincent Gianfrancesco & Ricky Falk. Let me know if you want me to post it here also.

Thanks 3cx

Let me voice my dismay at this. I've been a top contributor and am an enterprise customer. Sure, we're only 32 SC, but even the smallest customer has made an investment in 3CX. I get that your weekend warrior using a free edition doesn't need to have a voice. But stopping your paying customers? C'mon.

My biggest concern is that many of the updates are to features tacked on to the phone system, while the basics of day-to-day operational features continue to be lacking (like you can't change to a vacation greeting from your phone?!?!) And the Enterprise features are nice, but could use some serious love given the premium we're paying.

If you're not budging on this, perhaps allowing some sort of vetting process would be nice? Like "If you've been a top contributor" or "Here's the path to get allowed". Something.

I agree - as a paying customer why can I not post and contribute (potentially) good ideas for the product I have paid for? Surely if I'm suggesting it then it's unlikely that I am the only customer thinking about it. And if it doesn't get enough votes to get noticed then... who cares? Just delete it after 6 months if it gets no votes etc! I am sure you can just filter the 'chaff' by looking at the votes an idea has.

Essentially you have stopped a large portion of your customer base suggesting ways to make your product better, more marketable and a more qualified choice for potential customers. That's just stupid and bad for business. And it makes your existing 'small' customers who are passionate about your product feel insignificant and demotivated.

The problem with this approach is that people will just make posts elsewhere asking for the feature to be added, fragmenting the feature request system.

Not really. "Feature request" topics outside the ideas section could be removed. Even if they don't, they will just be ignored. Only ideas posted in the IDEAS forum are being evaluated.

Whether desired or not, what I said has happened and will continue to happen.

As someone who spends a LOT of time on the forums this was a welcome change and continues to be appreciated. I don't know if 3CX has the ability to do so but if they could somehow flag paid customer accounts that wouldn't be a bad idea.In the meantime if you are unable to post, feel free to reach out to any of the partners on the forum who can post on your behalf.

Teşekkür ederim.

@mperrin - yes you can post ideas as advanced certified....

@Nick Galea
Hello, I can't see a "POST Thread" button available in Advanced Certified level, so for now it's not possible to post new ideas, just vote and add comments on existing ones.
