We are trying to install new Ver 15 RC2 in a new Win 7 Fresh machine, and after required components got installed, we are getting following error:

there is a problem with the windows installer package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be found.

Our concern is that Log file named Clud install and we are installing: 3CXPhoneforWindows15.msi

3CXPhoneSystemCloud_install.log

This is the last part of log file, and attached you will fin the full content.

Hi integrax,

Please check that you do not have any pending updates then try to run the installer with administrator rights.
If you still have issues with installing go into c:\users\"username"\AppData\Local\ then right click on "temp" and choose "properties" -> "security" -> edit -> add, and add the username you are using, and give yourself all rights.

Andreaschr,

Thank you for your reply, and please let me tell you that I did all you mentioned even before to post my comment and unfortunately keep geeting same error results.
Any other idea about a workaround?

Thank you

Hi integrax

Please send me a pm so we can have a look.

Sorry, can't attach files to pm msg.

We created a new user in a fresh Win 7 PC, and after verify admin access to ApData Temp folder, we did execute 3cx install msi as an administrator.
After pre-software requirements installed, we still getting same DLL error, and noticed 2 important issues:

1.- The error occurs when setup is configuring some XML files (as you can see in attached jpg)
2.- The log file is named as Cloud Install (3CXPhoneSystemCloud_install.log) and we are installing locally.

At this time we do not have Teamviewer installed in mentioned PC
Please let us know if attached info is enough to troubleshoot this issue, or we need go further with it

Thank you
