a way for not using custom contexts

Hello,

I have a pbx wich each extension has asociated a trunk for making an recieving calls. For inbound calls i was using inbound routes and for outbound calls i was using custom contexts, every one has the correspondient trunk.

Recently I realise that if i create an outbound route like this: 4./118 just the extension 118 match this, so i can get to match every extension with a trunk for outgoing calls by using this.

Wich way could be better?

Thta depends on what you would like to achieve.
If you want any one to be able to dial out for an specific trunk, then the prefix scheme will be the better one, but if you only wnt that a specific group of users to use a specific group of lines, then the custom-context aproach is the right one.
