Solved Ability to backup to S3 storage Wasabi

The only way we can backup is using FTP with Wasabi all of our products can perform backups using S3. Why is this not implemented yet?

As S3 has not been tested with 3CX as is currently not a supported scenario all I can recommend for now is that you check through our Ideas section to see if anyone else suggested that it is added so that you can upvote that post.

Unreal this has been like this for years! FTP is not a secure option for backups.

Not supported with Wasabi only supports FTP and FTPS, it's designed for S3 buckets. We are also not moving to another platform for backups. 3CX is dictating where we have to backup, Google Cloud - which we are not going to use, SMB - we have a cloud instance doesn't apply, FTP or SFTP - outdated unsecured technologies, Local - no disaster recovery with this option.

I do understand that we do not offer every single backup option out there but I believe we do have a decent list of options. Plus I don't really see how we've left you with no choice especially since you clearly have some options that will work but you simply refuse to use.

FTP or SFTP - outdated unsecured technologies, Local - no disaster recovery with this option.

SFTP may be around for a long time but I don't know if I would go as far as calling it unsecure.

In any case, these are the options currently available so you will, at least for now, have to use one of them. Don't forget to take a look through our Ideas section for any similar suggestions to add more backup options as I'm sure that if enough members request it, it will eventually get considered.
