Hi Guys,
It is a sad fact that users quite often don't read the details of the welcome email and we are forever having to 'remind' them of their voicemail pins and web client passwords. The ability to view the web client password was incredibly useful and didnt really seem all that insecure given that if I really wanted to I could just reset it or send myself their provisioning e-mail.
We have run into issues where we have reset users passwords after this change and they have had it saved on another PC or browser resulting in further support calls back to us.
Why was the ability to view the passwords taken away in SP3, is there any option to turn this feature back on?
Thanks All
