Hi:
I see two diferents structures at NOTIFY Message, one of them when the phone get register for the first time, or when the phone get register after power off-on, in this NOTIFY message is present the line Event-summary, so any phone can activate the WMI, wich is disactivate when the voice message is read.
When a voice mail is left for one extension, the NOTIFY Message does not present the line event-summary, so only a few brand of phones can activate the WMI, as snom, grandstream.
If the NOTIFY message has the same structure all times, any phone can activate the MWI, it would make 3CX more open to any IP Phone.
By the way, I dont know if the SIP standard MUST include the event-summary line.
Thanks
