I'm guessing that it's right in my face but I'm not seeing how to set this up. We have Pro-Hosted, and I'm wanting to configure a general VM that mutliple users/extensions will access. This is something that is set up now with our current Mitel/frontier PBX.
On our current system, we have a speed dial for GeneralVM, and when pressing it, you get the login prompt to listen to messages, just like if you picked up and hit 999, but instead of the inbox for the current extension (say 107) it'll be for the "general" extension (say 100). In the Mitel system, the voicemail access is 6000, and the general VM is 8000.
I'm not finding a way to set a similar system up on 3cx. Even if I could create a speed dial for getting into box 100 that would work, but if I try that with *4<ext> it only allows me to leave a message, not access them. I assume there's a different dialing code to access inboxes?
