Activity Log Logging Level

How much does changing the activity log logging level to verbose actually affect CPU usage? Enough to the point where it could cause poor audio quality on phone calls.

We are troubleshooting issues a lot with 3CX so we need to keep the logging level at verbose it seems like all the time. If we switch back and forth between low and verbose, do we need to do any service restarts or it kicks in automatically.

We are using V15.5 for our firmware.

That depends on how busy the system is, number of calls, how many extensions there are etc and how good the machine is and the speed of the hard drive. It is not only cpu usage that is affected but the hard drive and memory as well especially if recordings are enabled also. Generally we do not recommend leaving Verbose logging on but if your machine is capable then its your decision.

If we change back and forth between verbose and low logging level, do any services have to be restarted?

For the changes to be fully applied you need to restart services.
